Touch is magic. It is a quality of presence that we transmit through our skin. It is, in significant part, how we remember for ourselves and remind each other that all is well and that we may rest. The practical benefits are numerous, precious, and well documented. Part of my work is understanding the anatomical roadmap, cultivating an informed concept of movement and physiology. A critical part, too, is simply being with. Tension arises through several means, but forgetting ourselves (I didn’t even know I was tight there!) is high on the list. My role is often to lovingly and skillfully guide awareness to places in our bodies and hearts we’ve forgotten, neglected, or disavowed. We each are inborn with remarkable body wisdom and a natural capacity to heal, needing only the occasional guide, and a hand at our back. I am here for you.
